This highly customized post and beam cabin is proof that great things can happen on a limited budget. Built with locally sourced North Carolina wood and wrapped in a traditional Japanese finish known as “shou sugi ban”; this rustic-style cabin features an open floor plan with a 1,400 sq ft wrap-around deck on two levels and a sealed crawl space with climate control. Specialized engineering was required to construct this new cabin on a steep slope so that the owners can enjoy the beautiful long range WNC views from their deck.
