This charming second home in Montreat, NC was overdue for a facelift and had suffered from years of water damage. Growth Ring Builders mitigated the damage, and provided a full range of exterior & interior renovations. The addition of a garage studio with upper story porch allows the owners to create pottery and then enjoy the beautiful breezes and views from the upper outdoor room which features radiant heat, a tiled floor and tongue & groove ceilings.
The full exterior renovation included a new chimney, new front entry, new exterior stairs & walkway, new cement board siding, windows and multiple hardscape improvements including a stone patio & concrete driveway. The home owner worked alongside Growth Ring Builders and even made their own custom tile for the project that was included within the bathroom and entry way remodel. To cap off this specialty project, Growth Ring Builders created a custom distelfink that hangs in the upper eave.
